Macreddin Stables
This region of Ireland is the Home of the Irish Horse. The fertile limestone soils and mild climate have produced rich green pastures and our love of horses, great horsemanship and internationally renowned breeding skills have made Ireland synonymous with the horse. Macreddin is set the midst of a truly spectacular Wicklow Valley.
We can offer top class training in Show Jumping, Dressage & Cross-country and for suitable clients there is an opportunity to compete in a local show. We can also offer delightful trekking and cross-country rides through Macreddin Woods and through magnificent unspoilt Wicklow countryside surrounding the village, as well as lessons, schooling and an all-weather jumping arena.
Our impressive Outdoor Arena is flood-light and this means that we can give lessons up to 8pm in winter and summer.
Horse riders, both beginners and experienced can avail of the Equestrian Centre at Macreddin where trail riding, trekking or hacking can be arranged.
