Weekend Away August 2006 - Brooklodge
Accommodation: Situated a short track from Dublin, this 'fantasy island' in the garden of Ireland, Co. Wicklow, is a one stop shop for top class pampering, beautiful accommodation and surrounds and the most amazing organic restaurant (The Strawberry Tree).
Spa: We had to be prised from the outdoor hot tub to come into the amazing spa. All of the treatment rooms are unusually spacious - this demonstrates BrookLodge's dedication to providing guests with the best o the best - there's no conveyor belt here (i.e. get them in get them out). Some of the treatment rooms could have been split into three rooms so we were most impressed.
Treatments: We recommend the Serail Mud Chamber and Aroma Baths (a couple basically slather mud all over each other and chill in a steam room for 40 mins. Bliss) Also check out the Carita facial.
